Carpentry That Brings Outdoor Ideas to Life
A well-built outdoor space should feel like a natural part of your home. Whether you're planning somewhere to entertain, looking for more shade or making better use of an existing area, the carpentry behind the project matters as much as its appearance. At McCarthy and Sons Construction, we provide carpentry and construction services for customers on the Gold Coast, with a particular interest in creative features and outdoor work.
Our experience spans carport construction, deck building and home extensions, as well as practical projects around the house. We enjoy working with the details that give a finished space its character, from the layout of a deck to how a pergola sits beside the home. If you're ready to talk through an idea, call 0414 322 072 and tell us what you have in mind.
Our Services
Carports & Pergolas
Need shelter for a vehicle or a more usable outdoor area? We build carports, pergolas, patio covers and related structures, with attention to how the addition fits your home.
Decks & Outdoor Living
A deck can change how you spend time outside. We work on timber and composite decks, extensions, stairs, balustrades and outdoor screens.
New Builds & Extensions
When you're adding rooms, extending upwards or planning a new structure, the framing and carpentry need careful consideration. We work across new-build and extension projects.
Renovations & Home Improvements
From internal walls and flooring to doors, windows and finishing timberwork, we help refresh rooms and improve how they function. We pay attention to the smaller details that bring the work together.
Repairs & Maintenance
Worn timber, damaged decks and troublesome doors or windows can affect everyday use. We handle a range of carpentry maintenance and restoration tasks.
Practical Skills & a Creative Eye
We bring 15 years of industry experience to a mix of feature work, outdoor structures and general carpentry. Our background includes Certificate I and Certificate III qualifications in carpentry, along with licensed skid steer and excavator operation. That combination is useful when a project calls for thoughtful carpentry and an understanding of the work involved around it.
Not every improvement needs to be a major build. Sometimes a home renovation helps an existing space work better; in other cases, carpentry repairs are the sensible first step. We take time to understand what you want to achieve before providing a quote. Our process is straightforward: get in touch, discuss the job, receive a quote, approve the work and then we complete the agreed project. Based in Flagstone, we also work with customers in Jimboomba and parts of the Gold Coast. We'd be happy to hear about your plans.
